They are not available at retail stores — they are formulated for professional application to deliver results that over-the-counter products cannot match.

Certified Auto Service is an authorized BG service center, which means our technicians are trained to apply BG products correctly and our clients are eligible for the BG Lifetime Protection Plan on qualifying services.

BG Lifetime Protection Plan

When BG fluid treatments are applied to qualifying systems, those components become eligible for the BG Lifetime Protection Plan — coverage that lasts for as long as you own the vehicle.

If a covered component fails after a qualifying BG service, BG will contribute to the repair cost — regardless of how many years have passed. This is separate from and in addition to our 5-Year / 50,000-Mile warranty, giving you two layers of protection on the same vehicle.

The BG Lifetime Protection Plan protects key vehicle components for as long as you own the vehicle. When BG fluid treatments are applied to qualifying systems, those components become eligible for BG Lifetime Protection. If a covered component fails, BG will contribute to the repair cost — for the life of the vehicle.
How does BG Lifetime Protection work with the Certified Auto Service warranty?▾
They stack. Our 5-Year / 50,000-Mile warranty covers the repair itself (parts and labor). The BG Lifetime Protection Plan adds an additional layer of coverage on the fluid-serviced components for as long as you own the vehicle — even after our 5-year warranty period ends.
Which BG services qualify for the Lifetime Protection Plan?▾
Qualifying BG services typically include engine oil service with BG MOA, transmission fluid service, fuel system cleaning with BG 44K, cooling system service, and power steering fluid service. Ask your service advisor which services qualify at your next visit.
Do I need to do anything to activate BG Lifetime Protection?▾
No. Coverage activates automatically when a qualifying BG service is performed by our certified technicians. Your service record documents the BG products used, which serves as your proof of coverage.
